My wife and I got a day off to go see something new, and we made the trip to Piney Creek Ravine Nature Preserve South and West of Campbell Hill. I saw my first live Armadillo on the loop! Some hills naturally and a wide creek crossing.
I wouldn’t go after a heavy rain if you don’t want to get your feet wet, but a nicely maintained park with a great wall of petroglyphs and early settler etchings (one 1878) and bluffs and creek vistas galore. Take your sticks and boots. About 2 miles I’d guess and great places for picnics. No restrooms or trash cans.
